Bring in a canned food item to homeroom by 12/20. Donations will go to our Neighborhood Food Pantry.

Day 4 – Tuesday, December 12

Donate a toy for “Toys for Tots” by 12/20

Day 5 – Wednesday, December 13

An attitude of Gratitude - Say thank you to our custodial staff or our lunch staff today!

Day 6 - Thursday, December 14

Keep it Clean - Pick up “litter” in the hallways and throw it in the trash.

Day 7 – Friday, December 15

Bus Driver Appreciation – Be sure to smile and say thank you when you get off the bus today!

The next Math Olympiad contest is this Tuesday, 12/12 from 2:35 to 3:20pm. 5th graders should report to room 125 and 6th grade should report to room 124. Don’t forget to bring a sharpened pencil!

The Winter Concert is Wednesday, December 13th, 7:00pm at the high school.

Anyone who has lost or misplaced a sweatshirt or jacket should see Mrs. Bond. Any unclaimed clothing will be donated on December 18th.

Today, The Outreach Club will begin selling handmade bracelets for $5 and bags for $10 created by artists in Nicaragua and Guatemala to support The Pulsera Project charity. Proceeds go toward jobs for the artists, as well as education, scholarships, housing, youth shelters, and other worthy causes. The sale runs through Thursday, December 21st during all lunch periods in the cafeteria. Cash only, please.

 Toys for Tots donation boxes are in the auditorium.

The Nyack Homeless Project donation boxes are in the hallway for men, women, teens and children. Items include, new or gently used winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves only.  New socks and toiletries only.  Boxed and canned foods.  Donations will be accepted until December 18th. Thank you. 

 Friday Night Rec is for 6th grade this week. Bring $1 and permission slip to Rec.
